Gauss Meter- An instrument which measures electromagnetic fields. Increased readings are thought to occur when spirits manifest. Also call EMF detectors and magnetometers.

Ghost- Generic term to describe a deceased person or image appearing to the living. In a technical sense, any form of spirit would fall into this category. However, it most often refers to human spirits as inhuman spirits are referred to as demons and devils. Animals can also be ghosts.

Ghost Lights- Lights which sometimes appear in haunted houses or in some cases, woods. Not necessarily a result of an evil spirit, these light are often photographed. In some cases, they are balls of light which may float or shoot across in the air. In other cases, they appear as arcs of electricity.  

Ghoul- An evil spirit who preys on corpses. One who takes pleasure in revolting things. Someone who practices necrophilia or otherwise desecrates a corpse.

Globule- A tiny sphere of electromagnetic energy. Spirits often appear on film as globules. Also known as orbs. These are not always perfect circles.

Gnomes- The elemental spirit of earth.

Graphology- Using handwriting as a means to character analysis.

Grave- Final resting-place for the physical body after the spirit has left.

Grave Yard- Cemetery.

Grimoire- A book of spells and rituals designed to conjure spirits. A book containing ritualistic or arcane knowledge. It is alleged that Witches keep grimoires as do Satanists.

Guardian Angels- These are Angels who are assigned to protect all living creatures. Each person is said to have their own Guardian Angel.

Guru- A spiritual teacher or leader.
