RRadio Voice Phenomena- Receiving the voice of a spirit through speakers of a radio. Similar to EVP’s. Rapping- This can vary from a light knocking sound to a heavy pounding. It often emanates from the walls but sounds as if it is coming from everywhere. Spirits will sometimes communicate through rapping using a simple one rap for yes, two for no formula. In some cases, there will be what appears to be knocking at the door. Of course, when one goes to answer it, no one is there. (At least not anyone they can see.) Three knocks are believed to indicate a demonic force. However, any spirit is capable of causing raps. Reciprocal Apparition- A visible spirit that can interact with those who see it. Recurrent Spontaneous Psychokinesis- (RSPK) Ability to move objects using only the power of the mind. Parapsychologists believe this is the phenomena which is labeled “poltergeist” activity. The activity usually centers around o girl entering puberty. Males can be the focal point as well and adults can be also although this is rare. The RSPK activity is of short duration, usually averaging two months or less. The agent or trigger is usually not aware they are causing the phenomena. Objects moved are usually very light, weighing less than two pounds as opposed to poltergeist activity where the objects can be quite large and heavy. Also known as PK. Reincarnate- To cause to undergo reincarnation. To come back to life. In theory, zombies would fall into this category. Reincarnation- Popular eastern theory of the rebirth of a soul into a new body. The soul will keep coming back until it has perfected all of its lessons. Relic- The body or part of the body of a Saint or any Sacred momento. Relics are sometimes pieces of cloth worn by the Saint or in some cases, a Holy person. Religious Provocation- An attempt to draw out an evil spirit through invoking the name of God or Christ. This is done in order to determine the presence of a spirit who may be hiding to avoid detection. Religious provocation can be extremely dangerous and should not be attempted by anyone inexperienced in this. Remote Viewing- A form of out of body experience in which one can see things in a different location. This has been studied extensively by many governments in the hopes of using this as a method of spying on each other. Repressed Psychokinetic Energy- Another term for RSPK. Retrocognition- The ability to see something or know something from the past through means other than the natural senses. Ritual- A prescribed form or method for the performance of a religious, solemn ceremony. Rituals can be used for good or bad. Ritual Abuse- The abuse, physical or sexual done as part of a satanic ceremony. RSPK- Recurrent spontaneous psychokinesis. This is the repeated action of objects moving through the power of the mind. Parapsychologists feel that poltergeist manifestations are caused by this. In instances where light objects move around, this may well be the result of the human mind. Studies have been done in which people have been able to do this. However, those being tested have not been able to move large objects. The movement of heavy objects would then appear to be the results of a inhuman spirit. In cases of both poltergeist phenomena and RSPK, there is one person around whom activity seems to occur. In both cases, that person is usually a female just entering puberty. |
