I had a friend who lived in an old railroad house and she passed away a few years ago. I loved that old house and her son had it torn down because it was in such bad shape. I had taken some pictures of it before it was torn down and it was amazing what I saw. The time when I took those pictures, there was nothing in the house but a couch and a chair. At one time, she had a lot of pictures hanging on her living room wall. You could see the outlines of the picture frames on the wall. When I got my pictures back, I saw faces on the walls. Some wearing long dresses and some with just their face. I always got this cold feeling when I went in that house but really paid that much attention about it. I remember one of the workers that was tearing the house down made a remark about how cold it was in one of the bedrooms. He never did go back in that house. One of the other pictures shows a white mist going out of the window and at the end of it you can see a lady standing there in a long dress. I couldn’t believe it. I just wonder maybe this upset the spirits that this old house was torn down. I wrote a poem about this and I will always remember this old place and the nice lady who lived in it. I have some pictures here and I wrote a poem about this. Here it is. I hope you like it.
This Old Railroad House By the Tracks It’s said to be haunted and that’s a fact It was built in 1863 I guess that is why it scares me I walked inside it was so cold Maybe because the house is so old Looking around and what I saw Were faces looking at me from the living room wall Some were women, some were men I guess I counted about ten. The women wearing long dresses can you believe This scared me so I just wanted to leave The men with just their faces looking at me Like trying to tell me please set us free © 2004 R W (on file) |
