Warlock- Term used for male witch or sorcerer. According to many practitioners of witchcraft, there is no distinction between a male or female witch, thus indicating this term does not exist. Others continue to use the term.

Werewolf- A person who is or believed to be possessed by the spirit of a wolf. In some cases, these people will undergo some minor physical changes or transformation as it is known. However, contrary to popular myths, they do not actually change into wolves. Also known as lycanthropy.

White Witch- Term used to describe people who practice benign or good magic. Modern belief is that there is no such category as “white” or “black” magic. The theory is that there simply magic and the intent determines whether it is good or bad.

Wicca- Literally means "wise one." Used to describe the practice of witchcraft.

Witch- One who practices witchcraft. True witches are not Satanists and do not put spells or curses on others. They worship what they refer to as nature gods. Satanists are often mislabeled in the press as being witches or practicing witchcraft.

Witchcraft- One of the oldest known religions, witchcraft is the worship of nature gods. Contrary to popular belief, true witchcraft is not evil and is not Satanic. However, the misconception exists that those who practice Satanism are witches. The media is often responsible for this as they classify any form of ritual activity as witchcraft. Also known as wicca or the craft

Witch Balls- Decorative balls of swirling colors that are used as ornaments or to avert ill effects of witchcraft.
