WELCOME TO THE FSSP

Welcome to the website of the Foundation for the Study of Paranormal Phenomena. This site has been created with a number of things in mind. As you saw on the home page, there are a number of goals. Obviously, this site is in its infant stage and I hope you will bear with me while it continues to grow. My initial idea was to not publish the site until it had a huge amount of material on it. However, after giving it some thought, I felt it made sense to put it up as early as possible. I decided to do this for two reasons.

The first reason is because I think that there is already a good amount of information to be seen. My second reason is because this site will grow in part as readers contribute to it. You see, I am very much interested in your stories. Whether you have had seen ghosts, experienced a haunting of your own or for that matter, had any type of paranormal experience you would like to share, I would like to hear your story. There are many experiences out there to be studied and together, we can all learn. Yes, even me. Although I have been actively studying the world of the paranormal for over 30 years, I do not, for one second think that I know it all. Anyone who does is deluding himself.

Experiences are certainly not limited to ghosts and hauntings alone. There is more to the world of the the paranormal. Every few months, I will announce an area in which I would like to focus. However, you can send stories on any subject at any time. My opening research project is on the subject of Ouija boards. I am sure there are many stories out there of unusual experiences with using the board. Other areas of interest involve near death experiences as well as other means of attempting to contact spirits of the deceased.

In addition, if you have photographs you would like to contribute, they will be most welcome. As with stories, please indicate whether you would like to see them posted on the site. If so, they can be posted anonymously or credit will  be given to the sender. Unfortunately, the FSSP does not pay for articles or photos and can not guarantee that all submissions will be posted, although every reasonable attempt will be made to post those which appear credible.

In short, this site will continue to grow. I will be updating it regularly both with readers contributions and new experiences. As research projects are undertaken, the results will be posted. You are invited to watch as this site grows and I promise great things to come. We can explore the world of the paranormal together. So please bear with me while the site grows. There are several categories that are short on content but that will be rectified over time. So, enjoy what is here and look forward to the future.
